Convenient location not too far from the Gothic Quarter Center. The modern room is spacious and bright, with clean towels provided. The beds are assembled together as advertised. 😊

The price-quality ratio is excellent, booked just before the flight, and for such money there was nothing in the county. Excellent location in relation to the beach, restaurants and Ramblas, very good for sightseeing and for beach holidays. Despite the proximity of the station, no trains were heard at all! On the second day we went to look for him because we couldn't believe he was close by. The room is very clean, tidy, fresh repairs in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, the towels/shower gels were... Breakfast is very inexpensive compared to other hotels, for 2 stars it is very good. Wi-fi okay, it worked fast. For those who fly out late, they have a special room where you can leave your luggage until the evening, the employee locks it. It's very useful.
Still two stars, which means no mini fridge and no omelette for breakfast. The rest is great!

The guest room was reasonably large and newly decorated with a balcony. The staff were incredible and pleasant throughout my stay. The location was marvelous for visiting restaurants and a zoo near the hotel. I would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Everything was fine, there was a little hitch at check-in, but a nice young man redeemed himself by giving us a wonderful room overlooking the courtyard with a balcony. The hotel was in a pretty decent place, all the staff were working very well. You could have had breakfast, but we didn't. There is a large Aldi supermarket across the street from the French station, where the prices are good and there is a lot of choice. Citadel Park, Barcelonetta metro station is not far away in 3-5 minutes walk. On dark nights it is not afraid to return, the area is alive, next to the Gothic quarter.
It's fine, the only thing is, there's no fridge... then it would be the perfect hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. To get from the airport to these apartments on your own, without any problems, budget train RENFE from the terminal T2 "on Train T 10" Accommodation in the room after 14:00, but if you arrived earlier, the hotel has a luggage room, which is very convenient, you can leave your luggage and immediately go to explore the city. The room is always clean, cleaned regularly, the staff is friendly, responsive and understanding, very convenient location, I recommend this hotel for accommodation!
PS - on the city beach, be very attentive and alert, otherwise you will not have a positive opinion about the local fauna.

I liked its location which is very close to the metro station and to some very good restaurants, beaches and nightlife. Apart from its location the maid service was excellent were we found not only our room clean and tidy but had some roses and found them well taken care of in a vase and some water.

The room had airconditioning, but during my 4 days of stay , the airconditioning worked just 2 days.

Hotel Santa Marta (3*) has been changed to the Grand Hotel Barcino (4*) in the last moment (from the same group). No problems with that, but the room was extreamly small (3x2 m)! And I can't classify Barcino like a 4*, max a 2*+. Every else was ok! The only (and the most) plus - it's situated in the heart of Barcelona! Recomend for 2-3 days to stay max!
Recon for the short stay (city trip) for budget travallers. Location is perfect!
